Dune: Part II will hit theaters on November 3, 2023

And to take advantage of this vacancy on November 3 next year will be Warner Bros., which will place the awaited sequel Dunes: Part II right on that dateanticipating a few weeks compared to the release initially scheduled for November 17, 2023.

Filming of the second chapter of the remake based on Frank Herbert’s bestseller is currently underway in Europe, indeed it already started this summer before the Brion tomb in Altivolein the province of Treviso, and then a Budapest. The complexity of such a film, in addition to the grandeur of the sets and production, is also that of fitting in the commitments of the numerous cast of stars that animate it, starting from the protagonists Timothee Chalamet (currently also busy promoting his recent Bones and All) And Zendaya. Dunes: Part II will continue to follow the story of Paul Atreides (Chalamet) who, having remained at the head of his family after his father Leto (Oscar Isaac) was killed by the rival house of Harkonnen, must survive the perils of the desert planet of Arrakis; he will do it with the car of Chani (Zendaya) and her population of gods Fremen, who survive in the desert waiting for a Messiah to change the fate of Arrakis and the universe. Paul, endowed with extraordinary powers of foresight, will have to face enemies near and far while exploring his true nature. The first Dune, appreciated for the imposing and visionary aesthetics given to it by Villeneuve, was a success even at the box officeraising $ 400 million (despite being released in October 2021, in the middle of the Covid era and streaming simultaneously) and six Oscars.
