Dungeons & Dragons, Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez present the film in the new trailer!

Through the official account of the film, a brand new trailer has been streamed Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, film adaptation of the famous role-playing game that conquers millions of fans in every generation. The trailer for the occasion is commented by the same cast, including Chris Pine And Michelle Rodriguez.

The new featurette showcases never-before-seen footage from the film, offering a look at classic monsters like a yuan-ti and aarakocra. It is interesting to note that, at several points, the film appears to have used animatronics and practical effects instead of computer-generated animationas puppets of a dragon and a large fish-like creature are also shown.

Also available is the new film poster, which shows the main cast of heroes and villains standing over the city of Neverwinter, with a black dragon looming over an arena. Find the preview and the poster conveniently at the bottom of this news.

The official description of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves reads: “A charming thief and a group of unlikely adventurers embark on an epic adventure to recover a lost relic, but things go dangerously wrong when they run into the wrong people“. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary RPG to the big screen in an exhilarating, action-packed adventure. The cast also includes Rege-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis and Hugh Grant.

The film was directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley and is an original story, but is set in the Forgotten Realms, an iconic fantasy setting central to the Dungeons & Dragons game. Dozens of novels and video games have been set in the Forgotten Realms, as have countless tabletop adventures. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves it has no connection to the Dungeons & Dragons trilogy of films released in the early 2000s, which featured various D&D fantasy monsters and races, but were not set in any particular world of the game.
