Catch – As always, The Rock never leaves anyone indifferent when he returns to the federation that made him known.
Long before being known in his roles in Fast & Furious, Jumanji or even Black Adam, which had tremendous success at the box office, Dwayne Johnson made the heyday of American wrestling in the WWE, where he had several legendary rivalries with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H or even John Cena, whom he faced twice at Wrestlemania. Although he stopped his regular wrestling career in 2003, The Rock has returned to the ring numerous times, was champion for the last time in 2013 and delivered his last match in 2016, against Eric Rowan.
The Rock is back!
This Friday, September 16, The Rock was back on Smackdown, the cult Friday show where he made history. His thunderous entrance woke up the crowd as usual, and the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, was no exception. During the episode, it is Austin Theory who had the chance to occupy a microphone segment of around fifteen minutes with the multiple WWE champion. The young 26-year-old wrestler has already won over crowds with his athletic prowess, his performances on the microphone and his arrogant persona.

Good numbers for WWE
On Youtube, the video of the entry of Dwayne Johnson exceeded one million views while that of the complete segment with Austin Theory totaled more than four million. But these figures are still far from the 103 million of views recorded on social networks by WWE. At 51 years old, there is very little chance that The Rock makes his return to action in the ring. For many years, the federation has wanted to highlight him more as a showman who wakes up crowds with his performances on the microphone.
