With Eataly also opens Eataly Art House – E.ART.H.foundation wanted by Oscar Farinettipatron of Eataly, Chiara Venturacultural manager, e Francesco Farinetti, CEO of Green Pea, whose goal is to make art accessible to the general public, proposing exhibition projects dedicated to important masters of photography and visual arts, modern and contemporary art market exhibitions, cultural in-depth events open to the public. E.ART.H. intends to stimulate knowledge and culture among the general public by applying the values of Eataly and Green Pea – accessibility, inclusiveness, responsibility, sharing and sustainability – to the use of the visual arts. All through an unprecedented formula that facilitates the encounter with the work, with the artists and with the operators of the sector.
E.ART.H. boasts a curatorial committee made up of: Eva Brioschihistorian and art critic, Walter Guadagniniphotography historian and director of CAMERA – Italian Center for Photography in Turin e Gaspare Luigi Marconeart historian and curator.

The appointments
To inaugurate the programming of E.ART.H. two major exhibitions that can be visited until January 29, 2023: the solo show of the Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama (1987, Tamale, Ghana) among the most powerful voices on the contemporary scene, entitled “Flights-ni“, Edited by Eva BrioschiAnd the personal exhibition of Dutch photographer and director Anton Corbijn (1955, Strijen, The Netherlands), one of the most celebrated author in the world who returns to Italy after about twenty years with “Staged“, Edited by Walter Guadagnini. Each exhibition is flanked by a rich man Public Program: a calendar of in-depth initiatives such as conversations, workshops, meetings with artists and curators to explore both the themes touched by the works and artists on display, as well as the multiple connections with the principles underlying E.ART.H.


The first scheduled appointment Wednesday 5 October at 12.30 is the talk dedicated to the “Staged” exhibition, with the extraordinary participation of Anton Corbijn in dialogue with Walter Guadagnini.
The “E.ART.H. Prize“
Eataly Art House also launches the “E.ART.H. Prize“, An annual award dedicated to artists under 35, coordinated by Matteo Mottin and Ramona Ponzini, founders of Treti Galaxie. Until 30 October 2022 it is possible to propose your candidacy by following the indications of the open call published on the website http://www.eatalyarthouse.it/premio/. Participation is open to artists not represented by a gallery and with at least one active exhibition, who will be able to propose their own work in response to the chosen theme. E.ART.H. wants to give life to a new reality: a unique design that knows how to act as an unprecedented interlocutor of excellence for the world of art, but also as a platform for meeting and discovery for a heterogeneous public, overcoming the traditional patterns of use of the work . A space also designed to give life to collaborations and initiatives in synergy with the city’s cultural associations to enhance their role.

Eataly
On the ground floor there is the market, of about 2,500 square meters, with a proposal of over 10,500 productsof which 1,000 new einserted on the shelves of Eataly for the first time e closely linked to the territory. And given that Veneto is the first region of Italy for extension of vineyards, wine production and number of winegrowers, Eataly Verona opens its doors by presenting a selection of approximately 2,000 labels in total of which 400 tell about the territory in detail. The Eataly market includes the cafeteria illy and is interspersed in its eight corridors arranged in a radial pattern by three lanes dedicated to the paths of the Art Market project.
Art and food
A real innovation for the Italian art system, that breaks down the barriers between spaces traditionally dedicated to the exhibition of works of art and places of everyday life. A selection of works of art chosen by the curatorial committee of E.ART.H. it will be presented on a rotating basis and available to the public, as part of temporary exhibitions created in collaboration with artists, institutions and some of the most prestigious Italian modern and contemporary art galleries.
In the heart of the building, under the majestic domeyou will find the restaurant Agricultural – Cuisine of the Seasonsdedicated to local and seasonal cuisineable to accommodate up to 320 seats.

From the central circular area you can reach the large restaurant rooms and six production workshops on sight (pastry shop, bakery, butcher, fishmonger, delicatessen and gastronomy) where you can observe how products of the highest quality are born. There are two teaching rooms at the Eataly School made by Green Pea, who oversaw the selection of sustainable furniture and equipment. The classrooms host a rich schedule of courses, tastings and workshops, while an adjacent space is dedicated to housewares, cosmetics, the signed library librerie.coop and at the corner Barberino’s. Also on the ground floor is the Icehouse Museum in which to observe the original machinery that produced the “cold” for food preservation.
