Pursuant to the proposal, the sellers will place additional points on the costs of purchasing electricity in the settlement accompanying the energy bills.
As the ministry justifies this change, “electricity consumers should be informed in a transparent and comprehensible manner about the increase in prices or rates of charges for the supplied electricity”.
Among these costs, the seller is to present the average costs of purchasing CO2 emission allowances and the costs of purchasing energy from small renewable energy installations and from agricultural biogas installations.
As recalled in the justification, the law requires energy companies to provide reliable information on prices and rates applied in tariffs for the sale and distribution of electricity.
From 2022, electricity bills will go up, and this is not the end of increases
In 2022, Polish families will pay an average of several hundred zlotys more for electricity. Reason? – Our power plants use coal in their furnaces. And coal is nothing but problems today, comments Paweł Czyżak, an expert from the Instrat Foundation, for Fakt.
Will the price tag stay with us permanently? – Yes, and at the Polish government’s own request. The official government plan for the energy sector will lead to an increase in the costs of energy production by 61%. by 2030. It is easy to calculate that your household will pay for electricity by several hundred zlotys a year more than today – emphasizes Czyżak.
