After Machete And Hobo with a Shotgun, Thanksgiving is the third fake trailer for the project Grindhouse by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez – who followed screenings of Planet Terror And Boulevard of Death in American theaters – to be entitled to his feature film. The film marks the return to horror of its director Eli Roth After cabin feverthe first two opuses ofhostel, The Green Inferno And Knock-Knock.
This slasher takes place during Thanksgiving. An event conducive to family reunions, joy, sharing a huge turkey but also bloody murders. Because this year, the fall festivities of a small American town will be spoiled by the presence of a masked killer, armed with an ax and ready to cut, saw or even freeze anything that moves, according to the teaser which promises a particularly gory spectacle.
A first glimpse which does not announce an original feature film, but rather a release in the line of references like Black Christmas, Valentine’s Day Murders or even the essential Scream. Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Rick Hoffman, Gina Gershon and Milo Manheim make up the cast.
