Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are sharing some wisdom with fans.
In December, the couple asked fans a few questions to celebrate their 19th anniversary of dating. Now—because they “had so much fun” the first time—they’ve decided to share a second round of advice.
In the second part of the new clip, titled “Ellen and Portia’s Instagram Advice,” the 65-year-old former talk show host and stunted development The 50-year-old star kicked off the video with advice from a recent divorce on how to meet someone without dating online.
“There’s a club you can join,” DeGeneres said in the video. “Go hang out on the pickleball court. It’s always fun.”
De Rossi then looked very seriously into the camera and said, “Drugs,” in response to a fan who wanted to know how to feel better when he was down.
The two then jokingly agreed that followers should take “shrooms,” with De Rossi mocking their response, saying: “Two sober people said, ‘shrooms.'”
When asked for advice for “stressed-out college students,” the television personality and actress, who dropped out of undergrad and law school, respectively, had an interesting answer.
“Well, do what I did. Drop out of school and become a big celebrity,” DeGeneres joked, while her wife couldn’t help but laugh.
“I did the same,” Rossi added. “Well, at least I dropped out of school. “I dropped out of school to make movies. ”
Perhaps the most heated reaction to the video stems from one of the sillier questions: “How soon should Christmas decorations be put up?”
“Never. Never,” DeGeneres replied, before going on a hilarious tirade about Flash.
“I’m happy with Christmas decorations without glitter,” she said, adding that she can’t go to the store without glitter on her.
“There should be a bill against glitter,” she continued. “I mean it’s horrible. I don’t want glitter. It’s your choice and now I have glitter on me because you chose it. You’re talking about people who have a problem with homosexuality. Like, How about glitter, you know?”
DeGeneres added: “I’m so sorry. “It makes me so excited. ”
