Riley Keough, actress and daughter of the late Lisa Marie Presley, posted a photo she took with her mother shortly before her sudden passing on Jan. 12 at the age of 54 from cardiac arrest. Keough said she was grateful for the last photo of her taken with her parent before her death.
Just days after Lisa Marie Presley’s death, Riley Keough posted their latest snap and wrote in the caption:“I feel lucky to have a picture of the last time I saw my beautiful mom”.
Keough’s husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, met on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road, read a letter from the actress during the memorial event on Sunday, revealing his wife’s pregnancy, discovered shortly before her death she would become a grandmother for the first time.
Lisa Marie Presley was buried next to her sonBenjamin Keough, who died tragically in 2020. The funeral of Elvis’ daughter was held on the Graceland estate, attended by numerous stars such as Alanis Morissette, Sarah Ferguson, Baz Luhrmann and Austin Butler, who played Elvis Presley in the film.
Elvis received eight nominations at the 2023 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Austin Butler. The film also stars Tom Hanks as Colonel Parker.
In these days Butler thanked ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens for goading him into becoming king of rock and roll at all costs.
