It has now been a few days since the announcement that HBO is working on a series of game of Thrones focused on the fate of Jon Snowwith the involvement of Kit Harington as protagonist.
Not a prequel like House of the Dragon, therefore, but a sequel / spinoff, in which we could also see other beloved characters from the franchise. Who will not be there, of course, is Daenerys Targaryen, as Emilia Clarke recently confirmed in an interview with the BBC. She, the actress, however, confirmed that she knew of the existence of the series because she talked about it with Harington:
[circa un suo coinvolgimento] No, I think I’m done! But he told me about it. And I know of the existence of this project. They are making it. The series was created by Kit himself, as far as I know, so he’s been involved from the beginning. So what you’re going to see on screen, if it’s actually made, is hopefully Kit Harington certified!
In the final season of Game of Thrones, Jon discovered that he was Aegon Targaryen, and therefore had rights to the Iron Throne. However, the boy chose to go into exile, leave Westeros and cross the Wall with the free people, to start a new life. The new series should really explore his new adventures…
