Emily Blunt and Chaske Spencer embark on a violent journey through the American Wild West in the next drama series The Englishto be released exclusively on the streaming on demand platform Prime Video starting next November 11th.
Described as an “epic western hunt”, The English is written and directed by Hugo Blick (The Shadow Line) and tells the story of an English aristocrat, Lady Cornelia Locke (played by Emily Blunt) and a former Pawnee explorer, Eli Whipp (Spencer), who in 1890’s America join forces to cross a violent landscape made of dreams and blood. And during their journey the two protagonists will have to face terrifying obstacles that will test their limits, physical and psychological: but only when they arrive in the new city of Hoxem, Wyoming, where they occurred. a series of grisly murders that remained unsolvedthe purpose of their journey will truly be revealed.
