Emily Ratajkowski opens her brand’s new offices in SoHo, inspired by the 70s

What’s in a moodboard inspired by Ratajkowski’s house? “I’m not afraid of colors,” he admits, but he has definite opinions on the matter. For her, the Millennial pink is out. On the other hand, the fun and unexpected combinations are trendy: “I love green and pink together. I like bright orange paired with cool tones, ”she says. The fuchsia and darker pink elements of the new office rugs are not quite what she would choose for her home, but their vintage mood “works for the brand,” she says.

Ratajkowski, the mother of a one-year-old boy named Sly, is currently furnishing a new apartment in the West Village after putting her mid-century Los Angeles home on the market earlier this year. (The move occurred following her divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard after four and a half years of marriage.) “The living room that I am preparing in my new apartment has very cold colors. It’s all green and blue“, explains.

Gray marble tables are Ratajkowski’s favorite pieces: “I find them beautiful, so long and spectacular,” he says.

Ratajkowski is also a fan of sculptural furniture, which CB2 made for the offices by creating a central area with two shaped sofas. This space allows the team to work in harmony and create content in a pleasant environment, an important aspect for an online business (the brand will soon be sold in stores) run by a social media superstar with 29.5 million. followers.
