Second evaluation of the season for ranking the top European scorers. We find net-shaking scorers in Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine. And after Erling Haaland last week, we have a new player who has taken the lead in these rankings. He is well known in Ligue 1, as he is at Serhou Guiras. The 27-year-old Guinean striker has been on fire in Stuttgart as he already has 8 goals in 4 games. With the Swabians, he scored a hat-trick in a 3–1 win against Mainz.
He is one unit ahead of Kylian Mbappe who has reached second place. Starting off big, the French striker has scored only 7 goals in four matches with Paris Saint-Germain. Against Nice and despite losing 3–2, he scored a good double which helped them make a good return in the standings. Right behind him, the podium is clearly completed by Erling Haaland. Although scoring against West Ham (3–1), the Norwegian slipped in the rankings after solid performances against the rivals. However, his start to the season has been very solid with 7 goals in 5 matches already.
Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martínez are in ambush
Failing to finish just below the podium, Matteo Casiera comes in fourth place with 7 goals in 8 matches. The Colombian, who scored against Rubin Kazan (3-0), has lost two places, but is in very good condition. Fifth, Greek Vangelis Pavlidis is credited with 6 goals in 4 matches after a new goal with AZ Alkmaar against Sparta Rotterdam (2-0). This is the same as Santiago Jimenez but a few minutes less. Sixth, Feyenoord’s Mexican scorer also distinguished himself against Heerenveen (6-1). Direction Türkiye with seventh place for Mauro Icardi. With 5 goals in 4 matches, the Galatasaray player scored again in a 4–2 win against Samsunspor.
Eighth, his compatriot Lautaro Martínez did not score despite Inter Milan’s performance against AC Milan (5–1). This time he preferred passers Tunic, even though his record remains impressive with 5 goals in 4 matches. Having played 350 minutes and having similar statistics to Lautaro Martínez, Jonas Winds is tied with him in eighth place. The Danish striker has been excellent with Wolfsburg this season where his new goal helped the side win against Union Berlin (2-1). Finally, tenth place goes to Jude Bellingham. Despite a good match against Real Sociedad (2-1), the Real Madrid midfielder is stuck at 5 goals in 5 matches.
Having a very good record of 5 goals at the start of the season, we got nine more players. Thus, Jonathan Okita (FC Zurich), Sinan Karvina (Austria Klagenfurt), Kevin Denky (Circle Bruges), Vincent Janssen (Antwerp), Fedor Chalov (CSKA Moscow), Anton Zabolotny (CSKA Moscow), Denis-Yerrai Eckert Ayensa ( Union (Saint-Gillois), Mama Baba Thiam (Kayserispor) and Maximilian Entrup (Hartberg) are lurking and could soon move up the rankings.
