Soon Viola (Daisy Ridley) appears in this dystopian world, an intriguing young woman whom Todd finds in a crashed space vehicle.

A Friend of the House – dir. Gabriela Cowperthwaite
Nicole (Dakota Johnson) and Matt (Casey Affleck) live a wonderful life raising two wonderful daughters when suddenly their shoulders are struck by a devastating diagnosis – cancer. On the news of Nicole’s illness, their best friend from college, Dane (Jason Segel), decides to live with them during therapy, to relieve Matt from his daily duties. Full of empathy and positive energy, “Uncle” Dane brings a breath of optimism to the family’s life, necessary to survive the difficult period of the disease.

The first cow – dir. Kelly Reichardt
Cookie Otis Figowitz aka Cookie (John Magaro) travels the country in the company of itinerant trappers. Along the way, he befriends a Chinese immigrant, King Lu (Orion Lee), whom he meets in unusual circumstances. Cookie has a trade, Lu has a flair for business, so the gentlemen add two and two and decide to earn a dime by trading baked goods. The problem is, they need milk, and there’s only one cow around.
