A few days after the publication of the new photo from the set of Fast & Furious 10, the co-star Charlize Theron has returned to discuss the future of the saga with Vin Diesel talking about a possible spin-off dedicated to his character, Cipher.
“If Helen Mirren is there, I will” declared the Oscar-winning actress, thus setting her only condition to reprise the role in a rumored spin-off of the franchise. ”I feel so lucky to be a part of this amazing thing that they have been building for so many years. I think what Vin and the producers and Universal have done with the whole franchise is really great. I mean, it is simply a very rare thing. It’s nearly impossible to hold an audience with you for that long.“
Fast Xwhich will be the penultimate episode of the original saga of Fast & Furious, pending the eleventh chapter which will represent the grand finale, will see the return of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, Scott Eastwood and Charlize Theron herself. Among the new entries we remember Rita Moreno, Jason Momoa, Alan Ritchson, Daniela Melchior and Brie Larson: the star of Captain Marvel revealed the name of his character in Fast & Furious 10 with a post on social media published in September.
The film will be directed by Louis Leterrier, who replaced the outgoing Justin Lin. The release date is set for May 19, 2023.
