Festival 31 Notes d’été in Donneville: hiking, cooking wild plants and concerts on the menu

A day of free entertainment will be on the program in Donneville, Wednesday August 23, as part of the festival 31 summer notesorganized by the Departmental Council of Haute-Garonne.

The meeting remains faithful to its usual recipe: visits and walks to discover the territory during the day, followed by a outdoor musical evening.

Hike and workshop around wild plants

At 9:30 a.m., the starting signal for a Hiking will be given from the Allées du Languedoc car park. Guided by the association Hike Pleasureswalkers will be able to discover the Chapillonie fountain loop which takes the road to Santiago de Compostela and offers pleasant views of the Hers valley and the hillsides of Lauragais.

In the afternoon, quite an original activity will be offered: a gathering wild plants which will then be cooked during a workshop in partnership with The Local Vida. The meeting is set for 3 p.m. in the village hall of En Cabanac.

Finally, a guided tour of the Montbrun-Lauragais millprovided by the association In the oven and in the millis also scheduled for 5:45 p.m.

Marching band and dystopian rap

Finally, this day will end with music, around two gigs in the gardens of Cabanac. The six stirring musicians of the Ghetto Blaster marching band will first deliver, at 7:30 p.m., their repertoire composed of vitaminized covers of hits by Coldplay, Stromae, Ed Sheeran or Pharell Williams.
