FIFA 20 led sales on the UK retail market last month, ahead of Borderlands 3 and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening: here are the other positions.
FIFA 20 reached the top in the ranking of best-selling games on the British market during the month of September 2019. Retail sales for the new EA football fell by 7% compared to the previous editions in its first month of availability, even if this could be linked to further growth in the digital segment.
As reported by GamesIndustry, the PS4 version of FIFA 20 has failed this year, while the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch editions have improved slightly. In second place is Borderlands 3, in front of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
They follow Gears 5 in fourth place and NBA 2K20, which recorded a 13% drop compared to last year’s episode. In the top 50 of the month also Astral Chain debuts in twelfth place, Control in the fifteenth, Greedfall in 30th position, Dragon Quest XI S by Square Enix at no. 40 and Catherine: Full Body at number 44. Data refer to the period between August 25th and September 28th.
