Let’s find out some details about the official FIFA 20 soundtrack, of which we can get a taste with the game demo on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
FIFA 20 will boast a wide-ranging, engaging and up-to-date soundtrack, and Electronic Arts have decided to talk about the songs included in the game, revealing some details.
The music chosen for FIFA 20 unites emerging talents and some of the most acclaimed artists on the international scene, in a tracklist that includes the Major Lazer trio, founded by Grammy winner Diplo, the dance music pioneer Don Diablo, the rising star Anderson. Paak and the electronics of the duo Disclosure.
The complete FIFA 20 soundtrack will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer starting September 13th: you can find a preview in the playlists created for the Demo with 20 international hits and songs selected for the VOLTA FOOTBALL mode.
“At the beginning, the FIFA soundtrack reflected the culture of football in the world. Then it started to influence it. Today it became that culture itself.” explains Steve Schnur, President of Music Electronic Arts.
“For the first time in the history of the title, we have created two different soundtracks, with a record number of over 110 tracks by artists from more than 20 different countries. The soundtrack captures the spirit of football that surrounds the globe from stadiums to the street, raising it to the highest level. ”
Major Lazer brings the new single ‘Que Calor’, produced with J. Balvin and El Alfa and inspired by the culture of football played on the street, on suburban pitches or in metal cages on the street fields of the VOLTA FOOTBALL mode.
“We are very proud to have created the lead track of VOLTA FOOTBALL,” says Diplo. “When we shared the first track with EA SPORTS the team was immediately enthusiastic and we knew from the beginning that we should have published it as a single. With J. Balvin and El Alfa, we took the piece to a higher level: we don’t see the ‘Now that the whole world can hear it! “
