TV adaptations of LGBTQIA+ stories and novels get a new boost in “First death”new series of Netflix that promises a lot of adventure in the midst of Calliope and Juliette’s romance. All this with songs from Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Shania Twain on your soundtrack.
“First death” is based on a tale of VE Schwabpart of the anthology “Vampires NUnca Avelhecem”, and premiered at Netflix this Friday (10th).
The plot will encompass all the desires, experiences and of course the romance between Calliope and Juliette, which is the central plan of the story. But all with a good dash of adventure, after all, Juliette is a vampire whose first potential victim is Calliope. The problem: Calliope comes from a family of monster hunters and vampires and soon they fall in love.
The history of “First death” will have the support of great names in music for its setting. According to the website Impagine, tracks of Shania Twain, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift.
Rumors have even begun to circulate stating that the choice of taylor for the soundtrack of the new series is music “I Know Places (Taylor’s Version)”part of the album “1989 (Taylor’s Version)”.

To earn the respect of a powerful family of vampires, teenage vampire Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook) needs to kill its first victim. The chosen one is Calliope (Imani Lewis), a new girl in town. But to Juliette’s surprise, Calliope is part of a famous family of vampire hunters. Each will find the other very difficult to kill and, unfortunately, very easy to like.
