First Official Poster of the New Blumhouse Invisible Man with Elizabeth Moss

After the first promising trailer for The Invisible Man, the Universal Pictures has posted online also the beautiful official poster of the film directed by Leigh Whannell ( Upgrade ), produced by the forward-looking Blumhouse of Jason Blum and starring the excellent Elizabeth Moss ( We, The Handmaid’s Tale ).

The new film is a reinterpretation of both the original HG Wells novel and the 1933 film of the same name. In that film, which obviously was part of the famous Universal Monster cycle along with masterpieces such as Frankenstein, The Wife of Frankenstein, The Mummy and The Wolf Man, Claude Rains interpreted as a man who discovers the secret of invisibility, but once he becomes invisible he realizes that he cannot return to normal: this will lead him to madness and consequently to start a criminal life.

The reboot, produced by Blumhouse by Jason Blum, will have a strong horror cut and will follow the story of Cecilia (Elizabeth Moss), who when she receives the news of the suicide of her violent ex-boyfriend, finally begins to rebuild her life. However, his sense of reality is questioned when he begins to suspect that the deceased is not actually dead.
