Directly from TUDUM, the event organized by Netflix to present the fans the news of forthcoming publication, Gal Gadot presented the first Heart of Stone teasernew original movie from the streamer.
The title Heart of stone it’s a pun which references the name of the character played by the star of Wonder Woman And Justice Leagueor Rachel Stone, but the details of the plot remain unknown: for the moment we just know that it will be an international spy thrillerwith the cast also including Jamie Dornan and Indian star Alia Bhatt.
Heart of stone is directed by Tom Harper, former director of Peaky Blinders And The Aeronautswhile the screenplay is signed by Allison Schroeder, author of frozen 2 And The right to counttogether with comic writer Greg Rucka, closely linked to Netflix as the author of the graphic novel that inspired by the cinecomix The Old Guard with Charlize Theron.
The film is the second high-profile project that Skydance managed to sell to a streamer before signing an exclusive deal with Apple TV+: the first was the sci-fi The Tomorrow Warstarring Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World), whose global distribution rights have been acquired by the on-demand streaming platform Prime Video for the beauty of 200 million dollars for the global rights.
