Football Coach: the Game, i.e. Robert Lewandowski created a football game

At the end of 2020, Robert Lewandowski announced his plans related to the gaming industry. – I remember the first meeting with Robert about the game. We talked about the most general assumptions for Football Coach. At the time, I had the idea to put more emphasis on the personality of the trainer. However, I did not know how to reconcile the various possible paths of its development. Robert said then: “let’s give a few coaches to choose from.” And so we did, it was a great idea, and then more and more appeared – we read on the official website of RL9 Games.

When we think about the manager’s role in football games, the first association is, of course, the Football Manager series, which has been released annually since 2004. However, Football Coach: the Game is not a head-on collision with the popular FM. – The game by Robert Lewandowski will belong to the growing segment of online football managers, focusing on multiplayer. The player, next to the traditional structure of league struggles, at any time of the day or night will be able to challenge an opponent from the other end of the world to a ranked match – we read on the official website of the project. Nevertheless, the game will have a lot in common with the cult series. The player will get the opportunity to develop his trainer, expand the club or the facilities around it. “Use artifacts during the match. Become the idol of the stands. In STRIKER mode take control of key moments of the match” – we read in the description of the game.

We don’t know the specific release date yet, but the game will definitely be available on PCs on the STEAM platform. The official trailer shows that in some aspects, such as camera work or visual effects, it may even be ahead of the cult Football Manager series, but we have to wait for the official premiere with a reliable assessment.
