From now July 14 comes exclusively on TimVision the complete series (2 seasons, 20 episodes), unpublished in Italy, For the People. Produced by Shonda Rhimes, it focuses on six very young lawyers, with their first real work experience, while they are managing federal cases of the highest profile.
The story is set in Southern District Court of the New York Federal Court where promising lawyers will have to prove their worth and win the esteem of their superiors by working on opposite sides of the law.
On the one hand there are in fact the new arrivals in the prosecutor’s office and on the other those who have landed in the ranks of the defense lawyers. They will all be tested, both personally and professionally, as the path of their lives weaves in and out of America’s most prestigious court.
The two great friends Sandra Bell (Britt Robertson) and Allison Adams (Jasmin Savoy Brown), divide the apartment and they work for the defense alongside Jay Simmons (Wesam Keesh) and their boss Jill Carlan (Hope Davis).
Every day they have to face each other with prosecutors: Roger Gunn (Ben Shenkman) at the head of the Criminal Section of the Prosecutor’s Office, the ambitious and unscrupulous Leonard Knox (Regé-Jean Page), the very correct and fussy Kate Littlejohn (Susannah Flood) and Seth Oliver (Ben Rappaport) with whom Allison is having an affair.
The series, created by Paul William Davies, is produced by Shondaland, the production company of Shonda Rhimesand in the United States it aired on ABC.
