Until now, flu vaccinations were free only for the elderly, people with impaired immunity, medics, and uniformed services. However, the government decided that from Tuesday, November 23, all adults in Poland will be able to take advantage of free flu vaccinations.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health said during Monday’s press conference that at the moment the strategic reserves agency has “quite a large number of flu vaccines”, but there are no such vaccines on the pharmacy market.

This means that people from these risk groups do not use these vaccinations, hence the quick decision of the Minister of Health, Adam Niedzielski, and the launch of vaccinations for people aged 18 plus from tomorrow “- said Wojciech Adrusiewicz.
How do I get free flu vaccinations?
You do not need a referral or prescription to get flu vaccine. After vaccination, the patient’s Internet Account will contain information about the dose taken.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health explained during a press briefing that from Tuesday, every adult can go to the clinic, which is the vaccination center, and ask for a flu vaccine.
“There is no reason for POZ to refuse, because there are over 1 million vaccines available at the moment in the Governmental Agency for Strategic Reserves and these vaccines can be transferred on an ongoing basis” – Andrusiewicz assured.
