From Spain to Australia, AI-generated porn is intruding into playgrounds – Libération

Ecuadorian justice opened an investigation on Thursday, October 5, after the broadcast of porn videos generated by artificial intelligence featuring students at a school. Spain and Australia are also experiencing similar cases.

The dragnet is massive. In total, more than 700 videos of a sexual or erotic nature were discovered in a school in Quito, capital of Ecuador. Their particularity? All feature students – around twenty depending on the media Primicias – age currently unknown. Above all, all were generated by artificial intelligence (AI).

If the case is shaking up the South American country, where an investigation was opened on Thursday October 5, the phenomenon seems to be growing, with other similar cases having been recorded in recent weeks in Spain and Australia.

Fake scabrous nudes or licentious films… These pornographic contents are on the one hand forged using photos of certain students, and on the other hand thanks to recent developments in artificial intelligence.
