From Switzerland to Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri ’76passing through an important experience in Germany, here is the opposite Maja Storck. She is the first new face on the biancoblù roster for next season.

Switzerland from Basel (Swiss father and Polish mother), born in 1998, 184 cm tall, Maja Storck reached volleyball at the age of 10 with her hometown team, Münchenstein. She then joined Sm’Aesch Pfeffingen, playing in the Swiss top league for four years.
In 2018 she moved to Germany: two years in Aachen and another two with Dresdener SC, with whom she won the 2020/2021 championship (among her companions Camilla Weitzel) and was awarded the MVP award of the Bundesliga.
Notable numbers those of her last season: best scorer of the German championship with 390 points, voted MVP eight times, she also participated in the Champions’ League, closing the group with Dresdener with 98 personal points.
It has been a staple of the Swiss national team for several years.

Welcome Maja!
Thanks! It has always been a great dream of mine to play in Italy. Not only because I know and love this country – I have been there many times on vacation – but also because it has a very high level volleyball championship.“.
What did you like about Chieri’s offer?
I have been following Chieri for some time now, more assiduously since Camilla has played with him. A club with such a large fan base and this family atmosphere is very attractive to me. I think it’s the perfect place to get to know the Italian league, train at a higher level and learn from my teammates and an experienced staff. Also, since I accepted the offer I have been contacted by so many nice people who have made me feel welcome right away“.
How would you describe yourself to someone who has never seen you play?
I am a very emotional player, I always give my best and since I don’t like to lose, I always fight to the end. I have so much fun doing what I really love, and I love sharing it!“.
Can you tell us something about yourself outside of volleyball?
I study Food Science, also for this reason one of my hobbies is cooking and baking. I’m crazy about cats, and my kitty, Kiwi, follows me on my travels wherever she goes to play“.
What are your goals for next season?
I arrive in Chieri to learn, to be a better volleyball player, and to help the team whenever I can. I want to challenge myself and improve myself, and take advantage of every chance I have on the pitch. I also hope to learn the language a little. (In Italian) Can’t wait to meet everyone!“.
