From Trump to Orban and Abascal, the leaders cheering on Bolsonaro – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – SAN PAOLO, 01 OCT – From Donald Trump junior to Viktor Orban, to Santiago Abascal, at the head of the Spanish far-right party Vox, Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro (Pl) in the running for re-election, on the eve of the vote it has garnered the support of some leaders of the world right. The online information site La Folha reports it.

The son of the former US president, Donald Trump Jr., in a 13-second video, addressing the Brazilians said: “President Bolsonaro is a great friend of the United States and the only person who can stop the spread of socialism and of communism in South America “. On the other hand, the same former Republican president, Donald Trump, in early September, had already expressed support for Bolsonaro with a post on social media.

“President Jair Bolsonaro loves Brazil above all else. He is a wonderful man and has my full and complete support,” he wrote.

Bolsonaro also received the endorsement of the Hungarian premier, Viktor Orbán, one of the main leaders of the global populist far right. “I have served my country in Europe for more than 30 years, I have met many leaders, but few as exceptional as President Jair Bolsonaro,” he said in praise of the tax cut and falling crime rates. “He is a president who, despite liberal progressive globalism, had the courage to put Brazil first,” added the head of the Hungarian government.

Abascal in a video stressed that Bolsonaro “is the alternative for patriots, for those who want prosperous, free and sovereign nations against communism and against globalism”.

Support also came from the Argentine MP Javier Milei, the main right-wing exponent in the neighboring country.

“This Sunday, October 2, Brazil is putting its freedom on the line. This is why I strongly support Jair Bolsonaro against the radical left”, he highlighted. (HANDLE).
