GarageBand is Apple’s music creation app and a “lighter” alternative to the more extensive Logic Pro program. Apple today announced that the library of preset sounds available for iOS and iPadOS has been expanded with sounds created by famous artists.
The most interesting novelty added today by Apple are Remix Sessions – ready-made projects that allow users to remix two popular songs – “Free Woman” by Lady Gaga and “Break My Heart” by Duy Lipa. Each of them also comes with an instructional video to help beginners on the adventure of remixing music. In addition, the program library also features new sound packages prepared by such music producers as Boys Noize, Mark Lettieri, Oak Felder, Soulection, Take A Daytrip, Tom Misch and TRAKGIRL, and an additional package inspired by the music documentary series “Watch the Sound With Mark Ronson” “which will appear in the Apple TV + catalog on July 30th.
GarageBand is available for download from App Store for free. To take advantage of the news added by Apple today, update it to version 2.3.11.
