Ikumi Nakamura, director of Ghostwire: Tokyo, has decided to leave Tango Gameworks after nine years. Will the development of the game continue smoothly?
Ghostwrite: Tokyo, the new title of Tango Gameworks, will have to do without Ikumi Nakamura: the director of the game has decided to leave the team a few weeks after the funny presentation on the E3 2019 stage that made it quite famous.
“After nine years as creative director and art director at Tango Gameworks and Zenimaz, that experience ended,” Nakamura wrote on Twitter. “I learned a lot from the talents I worked with and I respect.”
Author of the story, scenery, and characters of GhostWire: Tokyo, as well as of various concept art, The Evil Within.
Before joining Tango Gameworks, he worked for Platinum Games as a concept artist on Bayonetta, and before that for Capcom as an environment artist for Okami.
