Gospel singer Regis Danese, 50, was discharged from the intensive care unit (ICU) of Governor Otavio Rahe de Siqueira State Emergency Hospital after a serious car accident last Wednesday night. The singer suffered a punctured intestine, fractured three of her ribs and broke her arm, according to a medical report released this Friday.
The accident occurred in a BR-153, the car in which the singer and his brother Daniel were riding was hit by a truck. Regis Danese was on his way to a show in Ceres Township. Fortunately, neither the singer’s brother nor the truck driver were injured in the accident.
Regis Danese’s clinical picture is considered fair, according to the latest medical bulletin. He has been transferred to a ward and continues the recovery process. The singer is conscious and breathing spontaneously.
