Grzegorz Krychowiak will have a new coach. Daniel Farke was hired by the FK Krasnodar team.
At the beginning of January, the Russian club decided to make changes to the coaching bench. Viktor Goncharenko lost his job after eight months.
Now the authorities of Krasnodar have bet on a manager who has also recently been dismissed. In November, Farke said goodbye to Norwich, now he will take over the club from Russia.
Norwich was the greatest challenge in the German’s career so far. Previously, he worked in the reserves of Borussia Dortmund and at SV Lippstadt.
Farke signed a contract with Krasnodar until 2024. His debut will take place on January 19, when the Russians will face Legia Warsaw in a friendly match.
In Norwich, Farke had the opportunity to work with Przemysław Płacheta. Now he goes to the club where Grzegorz Krychowiak is wearing the captain’s armband. This season, the defensive midfielder has scored five goals and three assists in seventeen appearances.
