Haunted Mansion will be a new Disney film based on one of the amusement park attractions, as it was the case with Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Expeditions starring Dwayn Johnson and Emily Blunt. Justin Simien will be behind the production camera. Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who were involved in acting Aladdin with Will Smith will act as producers. The film’s writer is Katie Dippold.
IN Haunted Mansion will play an Oscar nominee for a supporting role in Judas and the Black Messiah LaKeith Stanfield and Tiffany Haddish. He will also join the cast Owen Wilson. Work on production will begin in October 2021 in Atlanta.
The Haunted Mansion has been in high demand since 1969, when it debuted as a theme park at Disneyland and Disney World. It consists in the fact that guests enter a ghostly mansion, where ghosts, ghouls and skeletons scare it.
The production with Wilson will not be the first film to be made based on this attraction. Already in 2003, the comedy horror film Haunted Manor, directed by Rob Minkoff and starring Eddie Murphy, hit theaters. However, it was not warmly received by viewers and critics.
