The legendary top model every year organized a huge party on the occasion of Halloween. An inseparable element of the event were the extravagant disguises of the guests, who present themselves in the most crazy costumes possible. This year, however, the cult party will not take place – Klum announced that in the time of a pandemic, a carefree celebration would be something simply inappropriate. “I don’t want to be accused of insensitivity,” she explains.
Heidi Klum has been one of the most sought-after stars of the catwalk for many years. After completing her brilliant career in modeling, the German beauty found herself in the American show business. Recently, she was a juror in the popular programs “America’s Got Talent” and “Project Runway”, she has also been working as a designer for a long time – in the past she designed a footwear line for the iconic brand “Birkenstock”, jewelry for “Mouawad”, as well as a collection of clothes Swimwear featured in Swimsuit Issue, the annual supplement to Sports Illustrated.
The legendary top model overseas is also famous for its annual Halloween parties. Klum uses this opportunity to give free rein to his unlimited fashion imagination – the highlight of the program are the effective costumes of the hostess and the guests she invited. Although famous friends and acquaintances of models wear extremely extravagant costumes for this occasion, Klum is the biggest star of the evening each time. Over the years, we could admire her in costumes made with incredible panache and elaborated in the smallest details, which brought to mind figures such as Jessica Rabbit, Fiona from “Shrek” or the Egyptian queen Cleopatra.
This year, like last year, the famous Klum Halloween party will not take place. Explaining the reasons for her decision in an interview with People, the model said that carefree celebration in the time of a pandemic could be badly received. “With everything that is happening in the world right now, I don’t think it would be appropriate to have a party. I realize some people might be offended, so I’d rather avoid it. I don’t want to be accused of insensitivity, ”the star explained.
Klum fans hope, however, that for Halloween she will prepare something as crazy as it was last year. Together with her husband, Tom Kaulitz, she recorded a short horror film in which her children, dressed as mummified zombies, started chasing her around the apartment after being struck by lightning. “Just because we can’t leave the house doesn’t mean we can’t be creative and have fun. I really wanted to keep the spirit of Halloween, cultivating our family tradition. It was a great way to involve the whole family and my kids loved it. I love to entertain people and to make them laugh, to surprise, shock and frighten them, ”Klum explained in an interview with People. Will the famous top model come up with a similarly creative idea this year? We will find out in the fall.
