Amazon Prime Video claims “Making the Cut” will be “the first ever global TV series available for immediate purchase,” which will allow you to purchase the winning fashion design from each episode at Amazon’s dedicated “Making the Cut” store.
12 designers are to take part in the show. In the program, they will travel to New York, Paris and Tokyo. In these cities, they will have to face various fashion challenges. They will have to present not only their talent in designing and styling clothes, but also show how well they cope with running a business.
They will be judged by famous personalities from the world of broadly understood fashion. Among them, among others model Naomi Campbell and former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris magazine Carine Roitfeld, as well as actress Nicole Richie, designer Joseph Altuzarra, influencer Chiara Ferragni.
Immediately after the end of each episode of the show, the outfits shown in it will be available for purchase on Amazon Fashion in the dedicated “Making the Cut” store.
The show will be broadcast from March 27 this year. – two episodes every week. In each of them one participant will be eliminated. The final is scheduled for April 24 this year. The winner will receive a $ 1 million prize.
Making the Cut will be hosted by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, who hosted Project Runway.
