Any concern about the age of Henry Cavill’s Superman is unnecessary!
There is still talk about the possibility of Henry Cavill returning to play Superman in DC films and, in these debates, the age of the actor ended up coming into the picture:
The star turned 39 in May 2022, and some DC fans believe that, until a new movie comes out, he may be too old to play a hero in theaters.
However, the Screen Rant website raises information that proves that age has nothing to do with it.

the age of heroes
According to the website, “In the modern superhero movie scene, several comic book movie actors have portrayed their respective characters in their late 40s, early 50s and even beyond.”
The site lists names like Dwayne Johnson, Hugh Jackman, Jason Momoa, Ben Affleck, Ryan Reynolds and Michael Keaton, who started out much older than the average new movie hero.
The site also lists as an example Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who were around 46 and 37 at the time they went back to dressing up as Spider-Man alongside young Tom Holland, who is still in his twenties, to success. No Return Home.
The other Supermans also make the list: Tyler Hoechlin is 34, and Brandon Routh is about to turn 43, but they both hit it off with the red cape, respectively in the Superman & Lois series and The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover.
So even if Henry Cavill is already in his forties when the new Superman movie comes out, it should all turn out well.
