Here comes the first smartphone with over 20 GB of RAM

It looks like we’ve finally come to the point where our smartphones will have more RAM than our laptops and desktops. Because when 16 GB is the standard in the latter, and notebooks often work on 8 GB, a smartphone equipped with 18 GB of physical RAMwhich in addition can be expanded virtually.

I am talking about the memory connection technology, which allows you to use the available high-speed UFS 3.1 data memory as virtual RAM, as a result of which the total RAM capacity in ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition exceeds 20 GB, which is more than enough for the most demanding games or programs. What’s more, under its hood we also find 1 TB of memory for data, so in fact we are dealing with a computer in the form of a smartphone.

This model is in fact a refreshment of last year’s flagship smartphone Axon 30 Ultra, and the name of Aerospace Edition is not accidental here – the smartphone will be promoted by actress Haocun Liu known from the movie One Second and it is a kind of tribute to the recent successes National Space Agency of China, i.e. sending an orbiter and a lander to Mars, as well as the expansion of the Chinese space station.

The other elements of the specification remain unchanged, so we can count on a 6.67-inch OLED display with a refreshing 144 Hz, the system Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, a large-capacity 4600 mAh battery, 16 MP front camera under the screen or a quad camera on the rear panel, which consists of a 64 MP main unit, 64 MP wide-angle unit, 64 MP portrait unit and 8 MP Ultra-zoom (5x zoom optical with up to 60x hybrid zoom).

The premiere of the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition is now November 25, but we still do not know the price of this novelty. As you can easily guess, it will not be cheap, because last year’s version already cost about PLN 4,300, so this time we can see even PLN 5,000 (and certainly when you try to import, because it is not yet known whether this model will go on sale internationally. ).
