World of Assassination – the trilogy, which consists of the last three parts Hitman – turned out to be an extremely successful undertaking. IO Interactive boasted that over 50 million people have played it so far. The third installment itself turned out to be the most popular game about Agent 47 in history. No wonder the creators decided to support it further.
IO Interactive announced a second year of support for Hitman 3, which will start on January 20, 2022. In January, holders of the PC will get the opportunity to play with the use of virtual reality goggles, as well as ray support tracing. It is not yet known what hardware requirements will have to be met to enjoy these novelties.
Hitman 3 in versions for all platforms on which it came, it will receive more story missions (we have to wait for more details about them), as well as a new gameplay mode – Elusive Target Arcade – which is a more casual variation on the form of fun known from the stand.
In the first year after the premiere Hitman 3 received a very successful paid add-on called Seven main sins, including seven additional missions. Admittedly, they were expensive DLC (for each of them, bought separately, you had to spend over PLN 20), but they were warmly welcomed by players. If the expansions released during the second year of support keep the same level, lovers of stealth should be delighted.
Hitman 3 was released on January 20, 2021. The game was then released on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. At the end of last year IO Interactive prepared an update for new generation consoles – Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. As part of it, the resolution was increased and the number of frames per second was increased to 60.
