Furthermore, in Italy the diffusion of the 5G network is increasing dramatically, with all operators having invested heavily to expand their coverage not only in large cities but also in peripheral areas. In short, it is time to update your smartphone and now there is the possibility to do it by spending very little with HONOR X8 5G.

HONOR X8 5G: the power of 5G in a great budget smartphone

Announced in Italy in early September, HONOR X8 5G it is one of the cheapest smartphones in circulation to include support for next-gen networks. It is characterized by the peculiarities that have made the brand famous throughout Europe: smartphone design of a very different caliber, smooth and responsive software and hardware of a much higher level than what its list price would suggest. In short, as we have been saying for some months now, HONOR is back stronger than ever, continuing to guarantee European users the typical characteristics of the brand.

And, after the split with HUAWEI, the company’s devices can benefit from Google Mobile Services, including also the Google Play Store which can count within it all the most popular mobile apps. HONOR X8 5G it is similar to the X8 4G model we have already talked about in our pages, but it has been deeply renewed to adequately support the latest generation networks.

Under the body we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ 5G processor, based on an octa-core CPU with 4 2.2GHz cores and Adreno 619 GPU: it is a base-range processor, but which on the HONOR device runs very fast thanks to the lightness typical of MagicUI 4.2, the proprietary customization based on Android 11 and without any restrictions. The smartphone can also count on a powerful memory compartment: the RAM is 6GB and is expandable up to 8 GB through the function RAM Turbo, which allows you to keep multiple apps in the background while also using 2GB of memory on the storage unit. The space dedicated to storage is instead of 128GB, and it is too expandable up to 1TB by installing a microSD.

To better support the ultra-fast network connection HONOR X8 5G makes use of one 5,000mAh battery equipped with 22.5W fast charging, all features not so usual in the price range of the smartphone. The large battery allows, with a single charge, to browse social media for 32 hours, or to play videos for a total of 20 hours. Despite the hardware innovations, HONOR X8 5G can boast dimensions comparable to those of the basic modelbeing just 1.2mm thicker and less than 20 grams heavier.

The 5G variant also makes use of a 6.5 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels, capable of covering 83% of the front surface of the device thanks to a design with a drop notch for the display, necessary to accommodate the 8 MP front camera. The display is TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified and thanks to the Eye Protection Mode it can be used for long sessions without straining the eyes. The smartphone also features the Dark modewhich transforms the interface of the system and compatible apps by replacing the white background with one tending to black.

HONOR X8 5G also offers the user a triple rear camera, with the main one that can count on the excellent 48 MP sensor combined with an f / 1.8 lens with autofocus. Also on the back we find two further 2 MP modules for the execution of close-up shots (macro) and for the addition of bokeh effects in Portraits. Full HD video recording is supported, both for the rear main camera and for the selfie camera on the front.

HONOR X8 5G it is sold on hihonor to a price of € 269.90 price list, in two colors: the more sober Midnight Black and the shining Ocean Bluewhich recalls the characteristic coloring of the brand.
