Announced, chatted and paparazzi on several occasions, the now highly anticipated Hunter 350 by Royal Enfield, was – finally – presented at the Intermot in Cologne. We already knew (almost) everything about her and her characteristics, except the price. But let’s go in order: B. How it is made
This is driven by the popular 350 cm3, single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled engine, already seen on the Meteor and Classic 350 capable of a power of 20.4 HP at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. / min. From the point of view of the chassis, we find instead a Harris Performance frame, combined in front with a traditional fork with stems of 41 mm in diameter and 130 mm of travel and, behind, two shock absorbers adjustable in preload with 102 mm of travel. The alloy wheels are both 17 “(which most of all distinguishes it from the little sisters that mount the same engine, on which there are 19” -18 “for the Classic and 19” -17 “for the Meteor), fitted by tires in sizes 110 / 70-17 “and 140 / 70-17”. The braking system is in order, consisting of a 300 mm front disc and a 270 mm rear disc with dual channel ABS system. All for a weight on the scale of 181 kg dry (the tank has a capacity of 13 liters).
Finally, the standard equipment, which counts LED rear light and digital-analog dashboard with total and partial odometer, gear indicator, digital bar indicator of the fuel level with reserve warning, clock and maintenance indicator light. Plus, compatibility with Royal Enfield’s Tripper TBT navigation system, which can be ordered as an original accessory.
How much does it cost
Available in the color variants Dapper White, Dapper Ash, Dapper Gray or Rebel Black, Rebel Blue, Rebel Red, the new Hunter 350 is offered at the price of 4,300 euros (for the first three color variants) and 4,400 euros for the second three variants. It will arrive in dealerships starting in November.
