How J-Lo Reached 51 With a Perfect Body: No Caffeine, Alcohol, 1400 Calories Daily and Limited Exposure to the Sun

This week, Jennifer Lopez stunned her Instagram followers by sharing a record of her trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands: many pointed out that the actress and singer do not look 51 years old in the photo in which she poses in a bathing suit on a beach. And it is not the first time that this has happened. J-Lo is constantly astonishing because of his appearance. In early December, when she made a video without makeup to promote her cosmetics line, several followers praised her skin. “I interviewed her countless times and saw her in person and up close. Trust me, her skin is flawless,” journalist Shaun Robinson wrote.

But several interviews make it clear that the artist is very concerned about her health. When talking to US Weekly magazine in 2016, for example, she revealed that she only drinks decaffeinated coffee. “I haven’t had any caffeine in years,” he admitted.

J-Lo also explained to the American vehicle that she avoids the sun. “I rarely sunbathe, but if I do, I use a lot of sunscreens. I never went to sunbathe, which is why my skin has been maintained,” he said, before adding that he also does not consume alcohol or smoke. “It really does damage your skin as you get older.”

Another concern of hers: getting a good night’s sleep. “I love to sleep for nine or ten hours, but I never get that. So seven or eight hours is mandatory,” he noted.

Staying hydrated is also important. “Drinking plenty of water, especially before training, can help you work harder and get more out of your exercise routine … I make sure I drink plenty of water,” she told Hello! Magazine.

In addition to avoiding alcohol and caffeine, the American also opts for organic foods. Tracy Anderson, her trainer, revealed to People: “I make her have a very natural diet because she needs a really good fuel for everything she does. It’s all organic and very well thought out, with a balance of very high-quality proteins and a lot of nutrient-rich foods. ”

However, this does not mean that J-Lo does not allow himself to eat some fatty or processed delights from time to time. “She’s a very balanced person, so she won’t miss Thanksgiving or a holiday with her kids,” added Anderson. “This is one of the reasons why exercise is important, and it is so consistent – that’s why we don’t do any kind of extreme diet.”

In 2020, bodybuilder Will Tennyson decided to follow the diet and do the physical workouts that Jennifer Lopez invests in, to understand how she managed to maintain her appearance. In a video on YouTube, he shows that he reached a diet based on about 1,400 calories a day and a 32-minute workout that works all the muscles in the body.

“She has a diet based on whole and organic foods, and at night, she allows herself a snack; which is what I like to do, it is the 80/20 rule. 80% of the time you are good, 20% of you are bad, “said Tennyson. “She goes to the gym 4-5 days a week. Her workouts are fast and efficient.”
