The Ghanaian forward on Instagram: “My daughter was rushed to hospital after Uruguay”
It was a complicated World Cup for André Ayew who, after the elimination of Ghana, confessed to having suffered a terrible mourning and having come close to another. “Personally, these have been very difficult moments for me in recent days. I shiver to read the words of Ayew, one of the two sons of the legendary Abedì Pelé (European champion with Marseille and passing through Italy with Turin, in the mid-90s, winner of the African Ballon d’Or three times and considered the strongest Ghanaian ever), took to the field despite the tragedy. Against the Lusitanians, among other things, Ayew also scored, making the momentary 1-1 goal (then the match ended 3-2 for Ronaldo and his companions).
