Ilaria Ciardi 2022 Award, the awards delivered

The exhibition relating to the second edition of the “Ilaria Ciardi Prize” was inaugurated this morning in the Michele Tosi Gallery of the Ravenna Academy of Fine Arts which will remain open until May 31st.
During the event, the first prize of 500 euros financed by the Cooperative Credit Bank of Ravenna, Forlì and Imola was awarded to Camilla Bindi of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. Another important prize was awarded by Publimedia Italia to Martina Carollo of the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo. Finally, two special prizes were added respectively to Lucia Monni from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and Erika Suda from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Present at the ceremony representing the BCC were the president Giuseppe Benini and Piero Roncuzzi of the local committee of Ravenna, Pubblimedia Italia and the family of the late Ilaria Ciardi. On the third anniversary of the death of the teacher Ilaria Ciardi, the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna has launched the second edition of the graphics award dedicated to her, aimed at all students currently enrolled at the Italian Academies of Fine Arts.
The award was attended by 90 students from all over Italy, from the Brera Academy to that of Palermo, from Naples to Venice, from Turin, Catanzaro, Catania. The selected works confirm the quality of the didactics of the graphics courses at the academies that joined this event with enthusiasm and emotion, highlighting the expressiveness of the graphic techniques. To the passion for drawing and dedication to engraving techniques and underlines the great commitment by the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna in promoting and supporting the work of young people in art.
The teacher Ilaria Ciardi had dedicated her life, actively participating with her work to the spread of this artistic language in the academies and in the main Italian cultural centers.

The 36 finalist works are exhibited in the exhibition that can be visited, in compliance with current regulations for the containment of the Covid-19 pandemic, from Monday to Friday from 10 to 17 and Saturday from 10 to 12, by making an appointment by telephone at 0544 453125.
