CNN Brazil has announced new layoffs for the team. This time, the cuts were anchors Rafael Colombo and Roberto Nonato, and commentators Janaina Paschoal and Marco Antonio Villa.

In an internal communication to its employees, the broadcaster said: “At various times, we would like to thank the highly qualified professionals who have contributed to the building of CNN Brazil so far. I wish you every success in your next professional challenge.”

According to CNN Brasil, the purpose of the movement is to encourage content redeployment, evaluate internal talent and hire new experts to provide more space for information and analysis.
