After fourteen months of marriage, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari would have separated. The sports coach would have filed for divorce.
Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari separated on July 28, American media announced. After fourteen months of marriage, the model would have already filed for divorce. Referring to “irreconcilable differences”, their marriage would therefore be about to officially end.
A violent argument during which Sam Asghari would have accused Britney Spears of deception, which she denies en bloc, would have signed the end of the idyll. As reported by the site “TMZ”, Sam Asghari would therefore have decided to take the lead and leave the star.
The legal separation promises to be stormy. Through his lawyer Neal Hersh, the 29-year-old sports coach said he intended to challenge the prenuptial agreement he signed with the singer. And for good reason, before getting married, Britney Spears had made arrangements, making sure to keep her property separate. Thus, in the event of a divorce, Sam Asghari would not receive a single cent of his fortune accumulated before the marriage.
A provision that Sam Asghari hopes to renegotiate: “(He) must still determine the nature and full extent of the separate assets and obligations of each party,” his lawyer said. “There are various items of community and quasi-community assets and debts, the nature and extent of which are unknown to (Sam) at this time,” he said.
Sam Asghari intends to bend Britney Spears. On the background of blackmail, he would ask her for a generous check if she does not want to see some of his secrets and embarrassing stories spread out in the public square. An ultimatum that Britney Spears could settle by signing the said check to the address of her future ex-husband.
To ensure his back, the artist appealed to the American lawyer Laura Wassner. Specializing in celebrity divorces, she counts Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, Johnny Depp and Kim Kardashian among her famous clients. This is Britney Spears’ third divorce. In July 2017, her marriage to dancer Kevin Federline ended after two years of union. In 2004, she married her childhood friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas, only to have the union annulled 55 hours later.
Happiness on horseback
The 41-year-old superstar doesn’t seem to care about the uproar caused by his separation. She took to her Instagram account to chat…horses. Sharing a snapshot of her in shorts and a swimsuit top, perched on a horse, she let her subscribers know that her concern at the moment happened to be the choice of her future purchase of a horse.
“I’m going to buy a horse soon!!! There are so many options it’s a bit difficult!!! A horse called Sophie and another called Roar??? I can not make up my mind !!! “, she wrote. “Should I join the camaraderie and put on a pink cowboy hat??? Either way, I think I’ve found my happiness with Roar,” she concluded her post. A little nod to his ex-companion?
