Discrimination and violence against the LGBTQ+ community

The organization was born in 2010 with a video campaign where its founder, Dan Savage, and his husband, Terry Miller, recounted their experiences of resilience after facing harassment. His first video has got more than 2 million views.
The initiative has spread into a global movement with a powerful message of hope: everything gets better. Over 60,000 people have shared their stories of life and love as an inspiration to the LGBTQ+ community. They are messages of hope for the millions of young people who face barriers in the process of knowing and affirming their sexual orientation and gender identity.
