In the last, direct clash of the group stage of this year’s Champions League, three goals were scored, all to Bayern Munich’s account (3: 0). The shooter of two of them was, on the other hand, Robert Lewandowski, who sensationally entered these prestigious games. The Pole, however, has one rival, who equaled his result in the 5th round of the LM group stage.
Robert Lewandowski reaches for many individual trophies, and the classification of shooters is one of the categories where it has been difficult to catch up with the Pole in recent months. Only Sebastian Haller from Ajax Amsterdam did it this season of the Champions League. Both forwards scored points in the 5th round of LM (Lewandowski – 1 goal, Haller – 2 goals) and they have nine hits on their account.
FC Barcelona play against Bayern. Xavi will find a way to advance to the Champions League knockout stage?
The clash with Bayern Munich in the last round of the group stage will be extremely important for FC Barcelona, not only in terms of the fight for promotion to the knockout stage. It will also be an opportunity for the new team coach, Xavi Hernandez, to prove himself for the first time against a top-tier rival.
FC Barcelona has not achieved the best results in recent weeks. The results in the group stage left the Catalans unsure of the promotion. They are currently in 2nd place in the table with seven points on their account. Benfica Lisbon is third, only two points behind. So this means that Barcelona must at least draw with Bayern Munich and hope that Dynamo Kiev will beat Benfica Lisbon in the last round of the group stage.

If Xavi Hernandez’s players lose to the Bavarians again and Benfica win against Dynamo, Barcelona will be relegated from 3rd place to the Europa League. If, on the other hand, both teams would have eight points, Benfica Lisbon will advance to the knockout stage of the Champions League, because they have a better balance of direct matches (win in Lisbon 1-0, draw 0-0 in the second leg).
