Italy returns to the obligation to cover its mouth and nose in the open air
The regulation was issued on Thursday by the mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala. The order of masks in the commercial center of the city will apply from Saturday (November 27) until the end of the year, i.e. during the period of intense Christmas and New Year shopping.
In Bergamo, also in Lombardy, the epicenter of the first wave of the pandemic, the masks will have to be worn outside from Saturday at 10:00 to 22:00 – Mayor Giorgio Gori announced. He has already decided that on New Year’s Eve this requirement will be extended until 2:00 am. There, too, the fine will be between 400 and 3000 euros. Also in the historic center of Bologna, the mask order comes into force on Friday, which will be in force until January 9.

Restrictions in Italy. The government has announced new restrictions
Local authorities made these decisions the day after the Italian government announced a tightening of sanitation regulations by introducing a strengthened COVID-19 pass only for vaccinated and cured people. Only with her, from December 6 to January 15, it will be possible to enter many public places: theaters, cinemas, sports and other events, and to closed rooms of restaurants and bars. (PAP)
