The most talked about trial of the last few days continues, and while Amber Heard is called to testify, Drew Barrymore intervenes on the microphones of her talk show, apologizing for his comments on the matter.
As we know Johnny Depp is suing his ex-wife for defamation. Barrymore apparently doesn’t seem to like the situation much, defining it all as “madness”. “I know these are two people’s real lives and I know what it’s like to see your existence publicized,” the actress said on The Drew Barrymore Show. “I understand all the feelings, but they’re actually giving out all this information that no one was supposed to know. This thing is crazy!”
These words were not appreciated by the public, who deemed them insensitive. Exactly for this reason the actress took to her Instagram today to apologize. “I have been told that I have offended people by making fun of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and for that I really want to deeply apologize and say thank you to everyone who has spoken out as this can be a learning moment for me and [un momento] for [capire] how to move forward and how to behave,” said Barrymore. “I can be a person who thinks more and better, because all I want is to be a good person and I really appreciate the importance of that and I will grow and change. And I thank everyone who has helped me grow along the way and taught me many things. Thank you.”
