Jennifer Aniston has a hardly indulgent attitude towards people who choose not to be vaccinated against COVID-19. In a recent interview for “In Style” magazine, the actress criticized this attitude and admitted that she broke off relations with the majority of unvaccinated friends.
This is not the first time Jennifer Aniston has spoken publicly on the coronavirus and COVID-19 vaccination. A few months ago, on her Instagram profile, she appealed to observe the restrictions and wear masks. A few months later, she announced that she was already vaccinated with two doses and was glad that everyone now has the opportunity.
“It’s such a relief to be fully vaccinated! We are extremely lucky and privileged that there is wide access to COVID-19 vaccines in the US. Unfortunately, this is not the case everywhere“- she wrote in May on Instagram.
Now the star of “Friends” has taken up the topic of anti-vaccines and the theories they proclaim.
Jennifer Aniston distanced herself from unvaccinated friends
In an interview with “In Style”, Aniston expressed her disbelief that so many people do not want to base their opinion on reliable, scientific sources and instead fall victim to disinformation.
“It is a pity that there is a large group of people who are anti-vaccine or just don’t listen to the facts. It’s a bit tricky, because in theory everyone has a right to their opinion – but many of these opinions are based on nothing more than fear and propaganda.“.
Then the actress admitted that she broke off contacts with that part of her friends who refused to vaccinate.
“A few people dropped out of my circle of friends who did not get vaccinated or did not want to say if they did. (…) In my opinion, it is your professional and moral duty to inform about such a fact. The more that we are not isolated and we are not tested for coronavirus every day“.
