Jennifer Aniston on her holistic approach to life
The 52-year-old actress has admitted that her approach has evolved over the years and now says it’s important to keep an open mind.
The Hollywood star confessed: “We will all mature and grow old. You can’t deny it, that’s for sure. ”
“But we can be alive and well in our old age. Our society loves to say, ‘At this age, it’s just downhill. Now it’s just retirement and hello. You are no longer valuable to society. ‘ In my opinion, this is wrong thinking. In my opinion it is not so. ”
Jennifer explained that her new approach to taking care of herself goes beyond healthy eating.
In an interview with “E! News, she said, “It’s not just about food, it’s about emotions, it’s about the spiritual side. We have to pay attention to what enters our ears and eyes, what we spend time on on social media, what information. It is really very important to our well-being. ”
Jennifer owes her love of health to her late mother, Nancy Dow.
She confessed: “My mother was crazy about health.”
“When I was a kid, I didn’t eat Froot Loops or Captain Crunch or Wonder Bread. I was eating cereal sprouts and various other sprouts. My mother always looked after her health and practiced yoga, so I got into it too.
Despite this, the actress’s approach changed when she moved out of the family home as a teenager.
She said, “My teenage rebellion was that I was eating badly.”
“Suddenly, I could eat whatever I wanted. I could eat Fruity Pebbles! But then I started noticing a difference in how I felt. I was tired, I was whining, my skin was in terrible condition, my body changed and I didn’t like how I felt. “
