Hipgnosis acquires 100% of Justin Timberlake’s music catalog
The music catalog market continues to involve significant negotiations in the music industry. the investment company Hipgnosis Song Management made another big move, this time, it acquired 100% of the entire music catalogincluding copyright, property and financial interests involving the singer’s copyright participation Justin Timberlake.
Justin Timberlake said: “I’m excited to partner with Merck and Hipgnosis – he values artists and their creative work and has always been a strong supporter of songwriters and storytellers. I look forward to getting into this next chapter.”

According to Music Week, the sale to Hipgnosis also includes worldwide management rights to the compositions, subject to the remaining term of Universal Music’s management rights expiring in 2025.
